In how many ways is there application of the mind to equanimity regarding formations for an ordinary person (puthujjana)? In how many ways is there application of the mind to equanimity regarding formations for a trainee (sekkha)? In how many ways is there application of the mind to equanimity regarding formations for one free from lust (vītarāga)?
For an ordinary person there is application of the mind to equanimity regarding formations in two ways; for a trainee there is application of the mind to equanimity regarding formations in three ways; for one free from lust there is application of the mind to equanimity regarding formations in three ways.
