[150] At the moment of the path of the non-returner (anāgāmimagga), right view (sammādiṭṭhi) in the sense of seeing … right concentration (sammāsamādhi) in the sense of non-distraction emerges from the fetter of sensual lust and the fetter of aversion (paṭigha) that persist in residual form (aṇusahagatā), and from the latent tendency (anusaya) to sensual lust and the latent tendency to aversion that persist in residual form; it emerges from the defilements that follow along with that, and from the aggregates (khandhā); and externally it emerges from all signs (nimitta). Right concentration arises because of the pacification of that endeavor (payoga); this is the fruit of the path.
