[149] At the moment of the path (magga) of once-returning (sakadāgāmimagga), [there is] right view (sammādiṭṭhi) in the sense of seeing … right concentration (samādhi) in the sense of non-distraction: it emerges from the gross fetter (saṃyojana) of sensual lust and the fetter of repulsion, and from the gross latent tendency (anusaya) to sensual lust and the latent tendency to repulsion; it emerges from the defilements that follow along with these and from the aggregates (khandha); and it emerges externally from all signs (nimitta). Because of the tranquilization of that endeavor, right concentration arises — this is the fruit of the path.
