Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Paṭisambhidāmagga · Vol. 31 · Section 152

[152] How is wisdom (paññā) in contemplating what has been cut off the knowledge (ñāṇa) of liberation (vimuttiñāṇa)? By the path of stream-entry (sotāpattimagga), personality-view (sakkāyadiṭṭhi), doubt (vicikicchā), adherence to rules and rituals (sīlabbataparāmāsa), the latent tendency to views (diṭṭhānusaya), and the latent tendency to doubt (vicikicchānusaya) — defilements (upakkilesa) of one's own mind (citta) — are rightly and fully cut off. From these five defilements, together with their obsessions (pariyuṭṭhāna), the mind is liberated, well liberated. It is knowledge in the sense of knowing that liberation; it is wisdom in the sense of understanding. Therefore it is said: wisdom in contemplating what has been cut off is the knowledge of liberation.
