[179] How does one define (vavattheti) dhammas of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) as wholesome (kusala)? How does one define them as indeterminate (abyākata)? One defines the four jhānas of one standing here [in this world] as wholesome; one defines the four jhānas of one reborn there as indeterminate. Thus one defines dhammas of the form sphere as wholesome and defines them as indeterminate.
