[194] The awakening factor of mindfulness (satisambojjhaṅga) is a dhamma; the awakening factor of investigation of dhammas (dhammavicayasambojjhaṅga) is a dhamma; the awakening factor of energy (vīriyasambojjhaṅga) is a dhamma; the awakening factor of rapture (pītisambojjhaṅga) is a dhamma; the awakening factor of tranquility (passaddhisambojjhaṅga) is a dhamma; the awakening factor of concentration (samādhisambojjhaṅga) is a dhamma; the awakening factor of equanimity (upekkhāsambojjhaṅga) is a dhamma. The awakening factor of mindfulness is a different dhamma; the awakening factor of investigation of dhammas is a different dhamma; the awakening factor of energy is a different dhamma; the awakening factor of rapture is a different dhamma; the awakening factor of tranquility is a different dhamma; the awakening factor of concentration is a different dhamma; the awakening factor of equanimity is a different dhamma. By whatever knowledge (ñāṇa) these various dhammas are known, by that very same knowledge these various dhammas are penetrated. Therefore it is said: wisdom (paññā) in the diversity of dhammas is knowledge of the discrimination of dhammas (dhammapaṭisambhidā).
