[215] How is wisdom (paññā) that is supremacy of seeing (dassanādhipateyya), the attainment of a peaceful abiding, and resoluteness upon the sublime, the knowledge (ñāṇa) of the conflict-free abiding (araṇavihāra)?
"Supremacy of seeing": contemplation of impermanence is supremacy of seeing; contemplation of suffering (dukkha) is supremacy of seeing; contemplation of not-self is supremacy of seeing. Contemplation of impermanence in form (rūpa) is supremacy of seeing; contemplation of suffering in form is supremacy of seeing; contemplation of not-self in form is supremacy of seeing. In feeling (vedanā) … in perception (saññā), in volitional formations (saṅkhārā), in consciousness (viññāṇa), in the eye … in aging-and-death: contemplation of impermanence in aging-and-death is supremacy of seeing; contemplation of suffering in aging-and-death is supremacy of seeing; contemplation of not-self in aging-and-death is supremacy of seeing.
