[58] Form (rūpa) is to be fully understood; feeling (vedanā) is to be fully understood; perception (saññā) is to be fully understood; volitional formations (saṅkhārā) are to be fully understood; consciousness (viññāṇa) is to be fully understood; the eye (cakkhu) … aging and death (jarāmaraṇa) … Nibbāna, which merges in the deathless (amatogadha), is to be fully understood in the sense of being the culmination. For one striving for the attainment of whatever dhammas, those dhammas come to be attained; thus those dhammas are both fully understood and scrutinized.
