[594] At the moment of the fruition of once-returning (sakadāgāmiphalakkhaṇe), right view (sammādiṭṭhi) in the sense of seeing … right concentration (sammāsamādhi) in the sense of non-distraction is delivered from the gross fetter (saññojana) of sensual lust and the fetter of repulsion, from the gross latent tendency (anusaya) of sensual lust and the latent tendency of repulsion; it is delivered from the defilements (kilesa) that follow along with those and from the aggregates (khandha); and it is delivered from all external signs (nimitta). Deliverance (vimutti) has deliverance as its object, has deliverance as its domain; it is brought about through deliverance, stands in deliverance, is established in deliverance. "Deliverance": there are two deliverances — Nibbāna is deliverance, and all dhammas that have arisen with Nibbāna as their object are also delivered. Thus deliverance is the fruition.
