[679] What is success (iddhi)? How many kinds of success are there? How many planes (bhūmi) of success are there, how many bases (pāda), how many steps (pada), how many roots (mūla)? What is success? Success is in the sense of succeeding (ijjhanaṭṭhena). How many kinds of success are there? There are ten kinds of success. Success has four planes, four bases, eight steps, and sixteen roots.
