[680] What are the ten kinds of success (iddhi)? Success by determination (adhiṭṭhānā iddhi); success by transformation (vikubbanā iddhi); mind-made success (manomayā iddhi); success through the pervasion of knowledge (ñāṇavipphārā iddhi); success through the pervasion of concentration (samādhi) (samādhivipphārā iddhi); the success of the noble ones (ariyā iddhi); success born of the result of kamma (kammavipākajā iddhi); the success of one possessing merit (puññavato iddhi); success consisting in sciences (vijjāmayā iddhi); and success in the sense of succeeding conditioned by right application in this or that instance.
