Paññāvaggaiddhikathā

Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Paṭisambhidāmagga · Vol. 31 · Section 681

[681] What are the four planes (bhūmi) of success (iddhi)? The plane born of seclusion (viveka) is the first jhāna; the plane of rapture and pleasure is the second jhāna; the plane of equanimity and pleasure is the third jhāna; the plane of neither pain nor pleasure is the fourth jhāna. These four planes of success lead to the gaining of success, to the obtaining of success, to the transformation of success (iddhivikubbana), to the consummation of success, to mastery in success, and to intrepidity in success.
