[180] On the near side of the Himavant
a little river flowed along;
and in the watered tract beside it
a Self-Awakened One (Sayambhū) was then dwelling.
Taking up a jewel couch (pallaṅka),
beautifully adorned, delightful,
with a confident mind, joyful,
I offered it up to the Buddha.
In the ninety-fourth aeon (kappa) from the present
I offered up that jewel;
I know of no bad destination (duggati) —
this is the fruit of veneration of the Buddha (buddhapūjā).
And in the twelfth aeon from the present
there were eight kings,
all bearing the same name, Sataraṃsī,
universal monarchs (cakkavattī) of great power.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā)
and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized;
the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.

It was thus, indeed, that the Venerable Elder Maṇipūjaka spoke these verses.
