[223] To the Blessed One Atthadassī, the eldest of the world, the steadfast one,
a support (ālambana) was given by me — to the lord of the two-footed, the steadfast one.
I proceed over the vast earth, bounded by the ocean,
and I exercise sovereignty over living beings and over the earth.
My defilements (kilesa) have been burned up; all existences have been uprooted;
the three true knowledges (vijjā) have been attained; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
Sixty-two aeons (kappa) from the present, there were three khattiyas
named Ekādassita, wheel-turning monarchs (cakkavattī) of great might.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and these eight liberations (vimokkha) as well,
and the six superknowledges (abhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Ālambanadāyaka the Elder spoke these verses.
