[41] "Before the lion throne of the Blessed One Siddhattha,
a wheel of Dhamma (dhammacakka) was set up by me — well made, praised by the wise.
I shine amid the four castes (vaṇṇa), possessed of carriages, troops, and mounts;
many people, following after me, surround me constantly.
I am ever attended by sixty thousand musical instruments;
I shine with my retinue — this is the fruit of meritorious action (puññakamma).
Ninety-four aeons (kappa) from now, since I set up that wheel,
I know of no bad destination (duggati) — this is the fruit of the wheel of Dhamma.
Eleven aeons from now there were eight lords of people,
Sahassarāja by name, wheel-turning monarchs (cakkavattī) of great might.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and these eight liberations (vimokkha) as well,
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized: the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled."
Thus indeed the Venerable Elder Dhammacakkika spoke these verses.
