[94] To Tissa, the Protector of the World, I gave a clean seat (suddhapīṭha),
delighted, with a delighted mind — to the Buddha, the Kinsman of the Sun (ādiccabandhu).
In the thirty-eighth³ aeon (kappa) from now I was a king named Mahāruci;
abundant was my wealth, and my bedding not a little.
Having given a seat to the Buddha with a clear and confident mind,
I experience my own deed (kamma), well done by myself in the past.

In the ninety-second aeon from now, since I gave that seat then,
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of the gift (dāna) of a seat.
In the thirty-eighth aeon from now there were three wheel-turning monarchs (cakkavatti):
Ruci, and Uparuci, and Mahāruci the third.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Elder Supīṭhiya spoke these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Supīṭhiya is concluded.
