[95] To the Blessed One Tissa I gave a half-cloth;
I had come to a state deserving the utmost compassion,¹ stricken by destitution.²
Having given the half-cloth, I rejoiced in heaven (sagga) for an eon (kappa),
and in the remaining eons I did wholesome deeds (kusala).³
In the ninety-second eon from now, since I gave that cloth then,
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of the gift of cloth.
In the fifty-first eon⁴ [from now] there were kings, wheel-turning monarchs (cakkavatti),
named Samantāodana,⁵ khattiya nobles,⁶ lords of the people.

The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been carried out.
Thus indeed did the Venerable Elder Aḍḍhacelaka speak these verses.
