[64] At the supreme tree, the Bodhi of the Blessed One Vipassī,
glad at heart, I took a fan and fanned the supreme Bodhi tree.
In the ninety-first aeon (kappa) from the present I fanned the supreme Bodhi tree;
I know of no bad destination — this is the fruit of the fanning.
My defilements (kilesa) have been burned away; all existences (bhava) have been rooted out;
like an elephant that has burst its bonds, I dwell free of taints (āsava).
Welcome indeed was my coming into the presence of my Buddha;
the three true knowledges (vijjā) have been attained; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed did the Venerable Elder Sumanavījaniya speak these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Sumanavījaniya is concluded.
