[65] "When Vipassī, the great seer,
was walking in quest of alms,
I saw his empty bowl
and filled it with junket (kummāsa).
In the ninety-first aeon from now,
because I gave that alms then,
I know of no bad destination:
this is the fruit of the junket.
My defilements (kilesā) have been burned away;
all existences (bhava) have been uprooted;
like an elephant that has burst its bonds,
I dwell free of taints (āsava).
Welcome indeed was my coming
into the presence of my Buddha;
the three true knowledges (vijjā) have been attained;
the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā)
and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized;
the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled."
Thus indeed did the Venerable Elder Kummāsadāyaka speak these verses.
