[211] Which, on that occasion, is the wisdom faculty (paññindriya)?
That which on that occasion is wisdom (paññā), understanding, investigation, thorough investigation, investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya), discernment, close discernment, specific discernment, erudition, proficiency, subtlety, lucidity, reflection, examination, breadth, sagacity, guidance, insight (vipassanā), clear comprehension (sampajañña), the goad, wisdom, the wisdom faculty, the power of wisdom, the sword of wisdom, the tower of wisdom, the light of wisdom, the illumination of wisdom, the lamp of wisdom, the jewel of wisdom, non-delusion (amoha), investigation of dhammas, right view (sammādiṭṭhi), the awakening factor of investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya-sambojjhaṅga), a path factor, included in the path — this, on that occasion, is the wisdom faculty.
