[31] Which, on that occasion, is the wisdom faculty (paññindriya)?
That which on that occasion is wisdom (paññā), understanding, investigation, thorough investigation, investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya), discernment, discrimination, differentiation, erudition, proficiency, subtlety, lucidity, reflection, examination, breadth (of wisdom), sagacity, guidance, insight (vipassanā), clear comprehension (sampajañña), the goad (of wisdom); wisdom, the wisdom faculty, the power of wisdom, wisdom as a sword, wisdom as a palace, wisdom as light, wisdom as radiance, wisdom as a lamp, wisdom as a gem; non-delusion (amoha), investigation of dhammas, right view (sammādiṭṭhi) — this, on that occasion, is the wisdom faculty.
