[68] What, on that occasion, is clear comprehension (sampajañña)? That which on that occasion is wisdom (paññā), understanding, investigation, close investigation, investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya), discernment, close discernment, particular discernment, erudition, proficiency, subtlety, lucidity, reflection, examination, breadth, sagacity, guidance, insight (vipassanā), clear comprehension, the goad [of wisdom]; wisdom, the faculty of wisdom (paññindriya), the power of wisdom (paññābala), the sword of wisdom, the palace of wisdom, the light of wisdom, the illumination of wisdom, the lamp of wisdom, the jewel of wisdom; non-delusion (amoha), investigation of dhammas, right view (sammādiṭṭhi) — this, on that occasion, is clear comprehension.
