[215] Which, on that occasion, is the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown" (anaññātaññassāmītindriya)?
That which, for the realization (sacchikiriyā) of those dhammas unknown, unseen, unattained, uncognized, unrealized, is wisdom (paññā), understanding, investigation, thorough investigation, investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya), discernment, close discernment, specific discernment, erudition, proficiency, adroitness, lucidity, reflection, examination, breadth, sagacity, guidance, insight (vipassanā), clear comprehension (sampajañña), a goad, wisdom, the faculty of wisdom (paññindriya), the power of wisdom (paññābala), the sword of wisdom, the palace of wisdom, the light of wisdom, the radiance of wisdom, the lamp of wisdom, the gem of wisdom, non-delusion (amoha), investigation of dhammas, right view (sammādiṭṭhi), the factor of awakening that is investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya-sambojjhaṅga), a path factor, included in the path — this, on that occasion, is the faculty "I shall come to know the unknown."
