[300] Which, on that occasion, is delusion (moha)?
That which on that occasion is lack of knowledge (ñāṇa), lack of vision, lack of realization, lack of understanding, non-enlightenment, non-penetration, failure to grasp, failure to fathom, lack of thorough consideration, lack of reflection, failure to make directly evident, dull-wittedness, foolishness, lack of clear comprehension (sampajañña), delusion, bewilderment, utter delusion, ignorance (avijjā), the flood of ignorance (avijjogha), the yoke of ignorance (avijjāyoga), the latent tendency of ignorance (avijjānusaya), the obsession of ignorance (avijjāpariyuṭṭhāna), the bolt of ignorance (avijjālaṅgī), delusion the unwholesome root (akusala-mūla) — this, on that occasion, is delusion.
