[355] Which, on that occasion, is perception (saññā)? The perception, the perceiving, the state of having perceived which, on that occasion, is born of contact (samphassa) with the corresponding body-consciousness element (tajjā-kāyaviññāṇadhātu-samphassajā) — this, on that occasion, is perception.
