[199] Which, on that occasion, is perception (saññā)? That perception, perceiving, state of having perceived which, on that occasion, is born of contact (samphassa) with the corresponding (tajjā) mind-consciousness element (manoviññāṇa-dhātu) — this, on that occasion, is perception.
