[200] What on that occasion is volition (cetanā)? That which on that occasion is volition, intending, the state of intending (cetanā sañcetanā sañcetayitattaṃ), born of contact with the corresponding mind-consciousness element (tajjā-manoviññāṇadhātu-samphassa-jā) — this on that occasion is volition.
