[409] What on that occasion is the mind faculty (manindriya)?
That which on that occasion is mind (citta), mentality (mano), mentation (mānasa), heart (hadaya), the pure (paṇḍara), mentality (mano), the mind base (manāyatana), the mind faculty (manindriya), consciousness (viññāṇa), the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha), the corresponding mind-consciousness element (tajjā manoviññāṇadhātu) — this on that occasion is the mind faculty.
