[393] What, on that occasion, is the mind faculty (manindriya)?
That which, on that occasion, is mind (citta), intellect (mano), mentation (mānasa), heart (hadaya), that which is clear (paṇḍara), intellect (mano), the mind base (manāyatana), the mind faculty (manindriya), consciousness (viññāṇa), the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha), the corresponding mind-consciousness element (tajjā manoviññāṇadhātu) — this, on that occasion, is the mind faculty.
