[684] Which phenomena (dhammā) are past?
Those phenomena which are past, ceased, departed, changed, come to an end, utterly come to an end, which, having arisen, have departed; which are past, comprised in the past portion: form (rūpa), feeling (vedanā), perception (saññā), volitional formations (saṅkhārā), and consciousness (viññāṇa) — these phenomena are past.
Which phenomena are future?
Those phenomena which are not born, not become, not fully born, not produced, not fully produced, not manifest, not arisen, not fully arisen, not risen up, not fully risen up; which are future, comprised in the future portion: form, feeling, perception, volitional formations, and consciousness — these phenomena are future.

Those phenomena which are born, become, fully born, produced, fully produced, manifest, arisen, fully arisen, risen up, fully risen up; which are present, comprised in the present portion: form, feeling, perception, volitional formations, and consciousness — these phenomena are present.
