[780] Which phenomena (dhammā) are clinging (upādāna)? The four clingings: clinging to sensuality (kāmupādāna), clinging to views (diṭṭhupādāna), clinging to rules and observances (sīlabbatupādāna), and clinging to a doctrine of self (attavādupādāna).
