[14] Therein, which is the aggregate of perception (saññākkhandha)? Whatever perception (saññā) there is — past, future, or present; internal or external; gross or subtle; inferior or superior; whatever is far or near — having gathered these together and compressed them into one: this is called the aggregate of perception.
