[166] Therein, what is right action (sammākammanta)? Abstinence from killing living beings (pāṇātipātā veramaṇī), abstinence from taking what is not given (adinnādānā veramaṇī), abstinence from misconduct in sensual pleasures (kāmesu micchācārā veramaṇī) — this is called right action.
