[20] Therein, what is the aggregate of volitional formations (saṅkhārakkhandha)? Whatever volitional formations (saṅkhārā) there are — past, future, or present; internal or external; gross or subtle; inferior or superior; far or near — having gathered them together and condensed them into one: this is called the aggregate of volitional formations.
