[223] The four noble truths (ariyasacca): the noble truth of suffering (dukkha), the noble truth of the origin (samudaya) of suffering, the noble truth of the cessation (nirodha) of suffering, the noble truth of the practice (paṭipadā) leading to the cessation of suffering. Of the four noble truths, how many are wholesome (kusala), how many unwholesome (akusala), how many indeterminate (abyākata)? … How many are connected with conflict (saraṇa), how many free from conflict (araṇa)?
