[546] Therein, which is the awakening factor of investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya-sambojjhaṅga)?
There is investigation (pavicaya) of internal dhammas; there is investigation of external dhammas. Whatever investigation of internal dhammas there is, that too is the awakening factor of investigation of dhammas; it leads to superknowledge (abhiññā), to full awakening (sambodha), to Nibbāna. Whatever investigation of external dhammas there is, that too is the awakening factor of investigation of dhammas; it leads to superknowledge, to full awakening, to Nibbāna.
