Abhidhammapiṭaka · Vibhaṅga · Vol. 35 · Section 549

[549] Therein, what is the tranquility factor of awakening (passaddhi-sambojjhaṅga)? There is tranquility of the body (kāya-passaddhi); there is tranquility of the mind (citta-passaddhi). Whatever tranquility of the body there is, that too is the tranquility factor of awakening, leading to direct knowledge (abhiññā), to awakening (sambodha), to Nibbāna. Whatever tranquility of the mind there is, that too is the tranquility factor of awakening, leading to direct knowledge, to awakening, to Nibbāna.
