[558] Therein, which is the awakening factor of tranquility (passaddhi-sambojjhaṅga)? That which is tranquility (passaddhi), quiescence, calming, subsiding, the state of having subsided of the aggregate of feeling (vedanākkhandha), of the aggregate of perception (saññākkhandha), of the aggregate of volitional formations (saṅkhārakkhandha), of the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha) — the awakening factor of tranquility: this is called the awakening factor of tranquility.
