[557] Therein, what is the awakening factor of rapture (pītisambojjhaṅga)? That which is rapture (pīti), gladness, rejoicing, delight, mirth, merriment, felicity, elation, satisfaction of mind (citta), the awakening factor of rapture — this is called the awakening factor of rapture.
