[560] Therein, what is the equanimity factor of awakening (upekkhā-sambojjhaṅga)? That which is equanimity, the being equanimous, the looking on with equanimity, neutrality of mind (citta) — the equanimity factor of awakening: this is called the equanimity factor of awakening. These are called the seven factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga); the remaining phenomena (dhammā) are associated with the seven factors of awakening.
