[588] Therein, what is right concentration (sammāsamādhi)? That which is stability (ṭhiti) of the mind (citta) … right concentration, the concentration factor of awakening (samādhi-sambojjhaṅga), a path factor (maggaṅga), included in the path (magga-pariyāpanna) — this is called right concentration. This is called the eightfold path (aṭṭhaṅgika magga). The remaining phenomena (dhammā) are associated (sampayutta) with the eightfold path.
