[799] Bases of knowledge (ñāṇavatthu) by way of the fivefold division: right concentration (sammāsamādhi) with five factors; right concentration with five knowledges (ñāṇa). Thus there are bases of knowledge by way of the fivefold division.
Bases of knowledge by way of the sixfold division: wisdom (paññā) in the six superknowledges (abhiññā). Thus there are bases of knowledge by way of the sixfold division.
Bases of knowledge by way of the sevenfold division: the seventy-seven bases of knowledge. Thus there are bases of knowledge by way of the sevenfold division.
Bases of knowledge by way of the eightfold division: wisdom in the four paths (magga) and in the four fruitions (phala). Thus there are bases of knowledge by way of the eightfold division.
