[833] Therein, what is the five-factored right concentration (pañcaṅgiko sammāsamādhi)?
Pervasion of rapture (pīti-pharaṇatā), pervasion of happiness (sukha-pharaṇatā), pervasion of mind (ceto-pharaṇatā), pervasion of light (āloka-pharaṇatā), and the sign of reviewing (paccavekkhaṇā-nimitta).
Wisdom (paññā) in two jhānas is the pervasion of rapture; wisdom in three jhānas is the pervasion of happiness; knowledge (ñāṇa) of the minds of others is the pervasion of mind; the divine eye (dibbacakkhu) is the pervasion of light; the knowledge of reviewing (paccavekkhaṇā-ñāṇa) of one who has emerged from this or that concentration (samādhi) is the sign of reviewing.
This is called the five-factored right concentration.
