[867] Therein, what is great desirousness (mahicchatā)? The desire for more on the part of one who is not content with whatever robes, almsfood, lodging, and medicinal requisites as supports for the sick, or with the five kinds of sensual pleasures (kāmaguṇa); any such wish, act of wishing, great desirousness, lust, infatuation … infatuation of the mind (citta) — this is called great desirousness.
