[928] Therein, which are the three unwholesome perceptions (akusalasaññā)? The perception of sensuality (kāmasaññā), the perception of ill will (byāpādasaññā), the perception of cruelty (vihiṃsāsaññā).
Therein, which is the perception of sensuality? The perception (saññā), the perceiving (sañjānanā), the state of having perceived (sañjānitatta), that is associated with sensuality — this is called the perception of sensuality.
Therein, which is the perception of ill will? The perception, the perceiving, the state of having perceived, that is associated with ill will — this is called the perception of ill will.
Therein, which is the perception of cruelty? The perception, the perceiving, the state of having perceived, that is associated with cruelty — this is called the perception of cruelty.
These are the three unwholesome perceptions.
