[955] Therein, what is disregard (anādariya)? That which is disregard, disregardfulness, lack of respect, lack of deference, not taking heed, the act of not taking heed, the state of not taking heed, lack of virtue, lack of esteem — this is called disregard.
Therein, what is being difficult to admonish (dovacassatā)? When one is being admonished in accordance with the Dhamma: being difficult to admonish, the act of being difficult to admonish, the state of being difficult to admonish, adopting a contrary stance, delight in contradiction, disregard, disregardfulness, lack of respect, lack of deference — this is called being difficult to admonish.
Therein, what is having bad friends (pāpamittatā)? There are those persons who are without faith, unvirtuous, of little learning, stingy, of poor wisdom; whatever association with them, constant association, close association, companionship, close companionship, devotion, strong devotion, inclination toward them — this is called having bad friends.
