[918] Therein, what is being difficult to admonish (dovacassatā)?
When one is being admonished in accordance with the Dhamma: the act of being difficult to admonish, the being difficult to admonish, the state of being difficult to admonish, the adopting of a contrary stance, finding satisfaction in opposition, disregard, disregardfulness, disrespect, lack of deference — this is called being difficult to admonish.
Therein, what is bad friendship (pāpamittatā)?
Those persons who are without faith, immoral, of little learning, stingy, and of poor wisdom — whatever frequenting of them, constant frequenting, close frequenting, association, close association, devotion, strong devotion, and inclination toward them there is — this is called bad friendship.
