[976] Therein, which are the five lower fetters (orambhāgiya-saññojana)? Personality view (sakkāyadiṭṭhi), doubt (vicikicchā), adherence to rules and rituals (sīlabbataparāmāsa), sensual desire (kāmacchanda), and ill will (byāpāda) — these are the five lower fetters.
