[157] Phenomena (dhammā) without thought-conception (avitakkā dhammā) and phenomena without discursive thought (avicārā dhammā) — setting aside the unconditioned (asaṅkhata) from the aggregates (khandha) — are included by five aggregates, twelve sense bases (āyatana), and seventeen elements (dhātu). By how many are they not included? There are no aggregates and no sense bases by which they are not included; they are not included by one element.
