[234] The bodily-pleasure faculty (sukhindriya), the bodily-pain faculty (dukkhindriya), the joy faculty (somanassindriya), and the grief faculty (domanassindriya) are associated with three aggregates (khandha), with one sense base (āyatana), and with one element (dhātu); they are associated with some [phenomena] of one sense base and of one element. From how many are they dissociated? They are dissociated from one aggregate, from ten sense bases, and from sixteen elements; they are dissociated from some [phenomena] of one sense base and of one element.
